Atonement Lutheran School

Purpose and Philosophy

Atonement Lutheran School, a ministry of the Lutheran Church of the Atonement, helps parents and the church provide the Christian training of children and build the body of Christ.

Our philosophy is to follow God’s Word and live Christ-like lives. We believe that every child is a gift from God and should spend his/her life to the praise and glory of God.  We seek to help each child develop spiritually, morally, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically.  Our goal for each child is maximum personal growth in all these areas so that he/she will be able to meet the challenges of life.  The school aids the home, but does not replace it, in meeting the God-given responsibility to bring up a child.

Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in Atonement Lutheran School.  We assist parents to provide a quality, Christian education for their children.  We are recognized for excellence.  In addition, Atonement provides several student services which most non-public schools do not.  Most of our eighth grade graduates continue their Christian education at Lutheran High North where they continue to excel.

Our childcare center’s programs provide a secure, caring environment and serve as an extension of the home.  Parents may have peace of mind knowing that their children are being well cared-for.

We encourage parents to contact the school and schedule a tour during a regular school day to observe and experience personally the nurturing, Christian school learning environment of Atonement.
